COSMETIC CHEMIST
Seeking R&D Cosmetic Chemist to develop innovative formulas for skincare and cosmetics; support research and development team in the lab and to provide technical support for the production of cosmetic products. MS degree in Cosmetic Science and at least one year of formulation and product evaluation; at least one year experience in emulsion technology, reverse engineering of the product, color matching, and stability testing in the cosmetic industry are required. Salary commensurate with experience.

PROJECT COORDINATOR
This position entails collaboration with various departments in all aspects of product development from concept generation to industrialization.
Primary responsibilities would include:
- Structure and enforce timelines for collaborative development through production
- Maintain daily correspondence with clients, suppliers, and internal departments such as R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Operations.
- Assist in developing and monitoring a detailed project plan to track progress
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, development charts, agendas, and presentations for client meetings
- Communicate and track sample submissions sent to the client
- Assist Project Manager with assigned tasks
Qualifications:
- Associate degree required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage upwards of 5 to 10 turnkey projects with auxiliary projects exceeding 20 to 30 projects simultaneously
- Friendly personality: able to communicate with clientele while functioning in a team environment
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word is required
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and succeed under continually changing conditions
- The ability to take direction and process solutions critically is necessary
- Strong verbal/written communication skills are essential
- Must be detailed oriented
- Experience in personal care/cosmetic industry preferable, experience in contract manufacturing a plus
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Seeking Product Development Manager to oversee and manage the product development calendar of products for skincare, color, and personal care products with our customers from concept briefs to write-ups and product presentations to our customers along with managing timetables for the developments.
Requirements include a bachelor’s degree. At least 5+ years of beauty product development experience within the cosmetics and personal care in contract manufacturing end. Strong verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize and follow through on timelines.
PRE-WEIGH
Dispenses raw materials according to the formula amount on a batch record. All raw material dispensing is performed in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Quality Systems Regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), and Health and Safety requirements.
Requirements
- Accurately weigh and document raw materials dispensed for batches
- Lifting raw materials from pallet to workstation
- Wipe up spills and keep workstation area clean
- Move expired raw materials from pre-weigh area to rejected area
- Performs general housekeeping duties within the area
- Assist with receiving and warehousing of raw materials
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned
- 1 to 3 years of chemical processing experience or batch mixing in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Basic computer skills for email and data entry
- Must read, write and speak in English, and communicate effectively
- Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical functions
- Able to participate in a team-oriented environment, willing to assist and train others
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to work overtime
